Ossi Ketola Wins $6 Million in High-Stakes Poker Match Amid Controversy
Ossi Ketola, known as ‘Monarch’, won $6 million in a high-stakes poker match against Wiktor ‘limitless’ Malinowski during the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju festival. Ketola's casino, Duel, sponsored the Triton live stream.
The two battled in a series of four heads-up matches. In the first match, each player put up $1 million, and Malinowski won with a full house. During the first match, an Andrew Tate impersonator made an appearance at the table, leaving a lipstick mark on Malinowski’s cheek. The real Andrew Tate is currently in federal custody in Miami, Florida, facing charges of rape, human trafficking, and exploitation of minors.
In the second match, the stakes doubled to $2 million from each player, and Ketola won a $3.5 million pot. In the third match, Ketola made a big three-bet with Q♥9♥ and won with a 9♠ on the turn. In the fourth match, Ketola won with A♥K♣ against Malinowski’s A♣8♥. Ketola has a history of controversial behavior, including multiple account bans on Twitter/X. Ketola was involved in a political protest incident in Finland, where he shouted racist slurs and was briefly detained by police.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
