Offset's Casino Drama: Rapper's Heated Blackjack Argument in Paris
Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, recently found himself in a heated argument with casino staff during a blackjack session in Paris. The rapper, known for his high-stakes gambling, was playing at a private table where he was wagering between $10,000 and $20,000 per hand.
Offset claimed he had used a “disposable card” to signal that the table was private, but other players still joined in. This dispute escalated when Offset threatened to leave the property after claiming he’d already won $200,000. He insisted that his high-stakes play should be treated with more respect and privacy.
This incident is not Offset's first run-in with casino issues this year. In April, he was shot at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Additionally, the MotorCity Casino in Detroit sued him for not paying back a six-figure credit line. These incidents highlight the rapper's ongoing troubles with casino establishments.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
