Notable Poker Players Busted in the Seventh Day of the Tournament
The seventh day of the poker tournament saw the elimination of several notable players. Anton Morgenstern, a German player, was the chip leader with a stack of 21,955,000. At the beginning of the seventh day, he increased his stack to 24,530,000. However, he ended up leaving the tournament in 20th place, earning $285,408.
James Alexander, the owner of a Texas bar, had the seventh-largest stack with 9,445,000. He increased his stack to 17,000,000 but ended up in 19th place due to a tilt. His elimination was marked by a series of poor decisions, including calling with weak hands and playing postflop aggressively.
Fabian Ortiz, an Argentine player, had the fifth-largest stack with 10,810,000. He eliminated Anton Morgenstern from the tournament in a key hand. Despite his aggressive play, Ortiz himself was eliminated shortly after.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
