Nordeste Poker Series Kicks Off with 134 Entries on Day 1A
The Nordeste Poker Series began its first event of 2016 on May 26 with a full room and 134 entries on Day 1A. The event, organized by 888poker in partnership with Ax Eventos, featured a prize pool of R$ 200,000 and attracted players from various states in the Northeast region of Brazil.
Bruno Foster, the ambassador of 888poker, expressed his pride in hosting such a significant event in the Northeast. “It is an honor to be able to hold an event of this magnitude in the Northeast and to provide the experience of competing in a major tournament for those who do not have access to larger circuits,” Foster stated.
The NPS High Roller event had 69 entries and a prize pool of over R$ 85,000, with 34 players advancing to the final day. The final day of the High Roller event will start at 19:30 on May 27 with blinds at 600/1200-200.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
