Poker Pro Nikolai Kanunikov Wins $1.3M in Exclusive GG Games

Kanunikov primarily plays on GG because it offers the most action and better conditions for streaming. He believes that the high rake on GG is justified due to the unique and exciting nature of the exclusive games, which attract a lot of amateurs. According to Kanunikov, about 50% of the player pool in these games consists of amateurs, making the games more dynamic and unpredictable.

To get invited to these exclusive games, Kanunikov had to lose around $130,000-$140,000 on PL5000. He believes that the administrators of GG have a specific algorithm for selecting players who have lost significant amounts of money on high-stakes games. Despite the high rake, Kanunikov finds the games exciting and motivating, as they offer a unique challenge and the opportunity to play against a mix of amateurs and regulars.
