NFL Trade Deadline: 7 Teams Likely to Sell Key Players

The NFL trade deadline is just two weeks away, and several teams are already preparing to sell key players. The market for teams looking to shed salary and play for the future has become clear, with at least 8-10 significant transactions expected before the deadline.

Here are the teams likely to make moves:

Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers are expected to trade multiple players, including Khalil Mack and several receivers. An advance scout believes Derwin James Jr., safety for the Los Angeles Chargers, will be traded before the deadline.

Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals are looking to move a veteran quarterback and have already traded a wide receiver. They are also considering trading running back Budda Baker and defensive end Josh Sweat.

Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are actively seeking to trade players such as Zach Sieler and Austin Jackson. The team has been focused on accumulating draft picks for 2027.

Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans are considering trading kicker Joey Slye, who is having a strong season. The team is expected to make at least a couple of moves before the deadline.

New York Jets

The New York Jets are open to trading wide receiver Garrett Wilson for quality draft pick compensation. The team is looking for a pass catcher and believes Wilson can be had with the right offer.

Washington Commanders

The Washington Commanders have several role players and solid veterans available for trade. The team is open for business and looking to improve depth on contending teams.

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints are expected to make moves, including potentially trading Cam Jordan and Alvin Kamara. Ownership is fuming, and the team is heading into a bye after a long flight home from London.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
