New Jersey Player Wins $100K in Record Time on BetMGM Poker

A New Jersey poker player won $100,000 in a SPINS tournament on BetMGM Poker. The player, with the screen name “Brokenblade,” captured what is believed to be the biggest SPINS jackpot ever awarded on BetMGM Poker and possibly the largest single payout in the operator’s poker history.

The incredible win occurred last week when the rarest possible multiplier — 2,400x the buy-in — was hit in a $50 SPINS tournament. The prize pool was split among all three competitors: $100,000 for first place, and $10,000 each for second and third. It reportedly took just 13 minutes for the New Jersey player to win the life-changing prize, making it one of the fastest six-figure wins in BetMGM Poker’s history.

SPINS are modeled after a format that has become wildly popular in online poker rooms across the globe, a blend of poker skill, speed, and lottery-style excitement. Each game seats three players, begins with shallow stacks of 500 chips, and features hyper-turbo blind levels that increase every three minutes. The entire match often concludes in just minutes, making it perfect for mobile players who enjoy quick, high-stakes action.
