The last time Nevada casinos won over a billion dollars was in February 2020. Over half a billion dollars were won by casinos on the Las Vegas Strip alone. The government of Nevada collected nearly 97 million dollars in taxes from gambling in March 2023, which is 160% more than the same period last year.

Nevada casinos are operating at 50% capacity due to pandemic restrictions. Despite these restrictions, local casinos are gaining momentum, and their earnings are slowly returning to pre-pandemic levels.
