Poker Pro Mike "Mouth" Matousov Threatens Female Opponent After WSOP Online Elimination
Poker player Mike Matousov, widely known as "Mouth" for his frequent provocations and scandals, found himself in another controversy after being eliminated from the WSOP Online 2020 freeroll. Matousov was eliminated from the tournament after just two hands by a player with the nickname "wolverine17".
During his YouTube stream, Matousov threatened to find and knock out "wolverine17", who he believed had intentionally eliminated him from the tournament. He even offered a $50 reward to anyone who could identify the player behind the nickname. "I will find out who this player is and I plan to meet him in person and knock him out. Don't believe me? You will all see it," Matousov stated on his stream.
However, the situation took an unexpected turn when one of Matousov's subscribers informed him that "wolverine17" was actually a woman named Megan Milbern. Matousov later apologized to Milbern for his behavior, acknowledging that he had overreacted. "Mouth" advised Milbern to follow poker etiquette, to which she responded that she had not intentionally eliminated him but might do so with pleasure in the future.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
