Mike Lia Finishes Fourth in WPT Omaha Championship
Mike Lia, a notable Canadian high roller, finished fourth in the WPT Omaha Championship. Lia's strategic and cautious play throughout the tournament couldn't prevent his elimination in a crucial hand. He was eliminated after his opponent made a full house on the turn, leaving him with a fourth-place finish and $76,700 in prize money.
Alex Manzano emerged as the champion of the WPT Omaha Championship. In the final hand, Manzano went all-in with a set against Paresh Doshi's two pairs. Neither the flop nor the turn improved Doshi's hand, securing Manzano's victory. The final showdown lasted over an hour, with both players initially agreeing to split the prize pool but continuing to play due to tournament rules.
The third-place finisher was Lacio Buytas, known as omaha4rollz. Buytas lost most of his stack in two unlucky hands against Manzano, leading to his early exit from the tournament.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
