MegaPokerSeries Day 1A: “lacidarlegna” Leads the Pack
The first day of the MegaPokerSeries tournament, held at the Gran Casino Madrid, saw some impressive performances from various players. Ángel Carrasco, known as “lacidarlegna” on the forum, led the tournament with 360,000 points, nearly tripling the average. He finished the day in second position, just behind Víctor García “Victordux”.
José Luis Puente, known as “amavis”, started the day with a low stack of 21,000 points but managed to climb back to 91,000 points by the end of the day. He had to compete against strong players like “Varico”, “Romariopov”, and “Sevillano”.
José Miguel Espinar, known as “Campa”, joined the tournament late but managed to finish the day with 110,000 chips. Unfortunately, his fellow players Diego Pérez and Carlos Barrado were eliminated from the tournament on the first day. Diego started comfortably but ended up being eliminated, while Carlos had a tough day with few good hands.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
