Maurice Hawkins Secures 26th WSOP Circuit Win, Expands Lead
Maurice Hawkins has once again proven his dominance in the poker world by securing his 26th WSOP Circuit ring. In the 2026 WSOP Circuit Choctaw $1,100 mini main event, Hawkins topped a field of 400 players, earning $76,380. This victory expands his lead over his nearest competitors, who have 20 rings each.
Hawkins' consistent performance has been remarkable. He has won five rings in 2026, all in WSOPC ring events. His career earnings now sit at an impressive $7.7 million. This latest win also earned him 720 Card Player Player of the Year points, bringing his overall total to 4,512 points. He has the second-most final tables of any player on the circuit, matching Punnat Punsri.
In the same event, Ari Engel finished fourth, earning $25,170. Will Givens secured third place, earning $35,450. Brian Green was the runner-up, earning $50,900. The final table results highlight the intense competition and the high stakes involved in these tournaments.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
