Mansion Group Exits UK Market Citing Regulatory Pressures
Mansion Group, a prominent name in the online casino industry, has announced its withdrawal from the UK market effective January 12, 2023. The company, which owns popular brands such as Slots Heaven, Casino(dot)com, and Mansion Casino, has also surrendered its UK Gambling Commission license.
This decision follows the company's closure of all sports betting operations in the UK in March 2022. The move has left many customers rushing to withdraw their funds before the deadline. According to Mansion Group's CMO, Neil Gallacher, the increasingly challenging regulatory environment in the UK has strained the company's profitability.
Mansion Group has been active in the UK online casino market since November 2017 and has had notable sponsorship agreements with Premier League teams like Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, and Manchester City. Despite exiting the UK, the company plans to explore opportunities in other markets such as Spain and Canada, focusing on regions with more favorable regulatory conditions.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
