GipsyTeam's Kulibin Wins Unibet Rake Race in Eastern Europe
Kulibin, a player from GipsyTeam, won the Unibet rake race in Eastern Europe. Kulibin received an iPad, €500 from GipsyTeam, 30% rakeback, 20% towards Unibet+ (tournament tickets), and €1,500 in prize money.
Kulibin is 31 years old and has worked in various fields including education, web development, and finance. Kulibin started playing poker in 2006-2007 after being introduced to it through his work with online players. His first significant poker win was 1st place in a micro-MTT earning $100.
Kulibin primarily plays offline poker and considers NL400 his working online limit. Kulibin participated in the Unibet rake race after seeing an advertisement for it a week after making a deposit. Kulibin had to adjust his daily routine and play longer sessions to maintain his lead in the rake race. Kulibin found that playing long sessions affected his performance negatively, leading to a downswing. Kulibin mentioned that Unibet has a slow software but offers convenient features like anonymous tables and a quick max rakeback.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
