PokerStars, Partypoker, and GGNetwork Announce Exciting Promotions for June

PokerStars, Partypoker, and GGNetwork have announced several exciting promotions and updates for the month of June. Here's what players can look forward to:

PokerStars' Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) series concluded with a massive prize pool of $105,133,091 across 219 tournaments. This series saw over a million entries, making it the first online series to reach a nine-figure prize pool. The success of SCOOP is evident in the sheer number of participants and the sheer amount of prize money up for grabs.

Additionally, PokerStars is celebrating the eighth anniversary of its popular Sunday Storm tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000 on June 16. The buy-in remains at $11, making it an attractive option for players looking to win a share of the massive prize pool. The tournament will start at 21:00 Moscow time, and there will be a wide range of satellite options available for players to qualify.

Partypoker's Knockout Series, which concluded on May 26, saw a total prize pool of $37.6 million across 224 tournaments. Despite overlapping with other major series, Partypoker's Knockout Series saw an overlay of $974,350 across 62 tournaments. The series featured a variety of buy-ins, with the most expensive tournament having a buy-in of $5,200. Partypoker's management views the overlay as a worthwhile marketing expense, as the series' overall guarantee was exceeded by 25%.

Following the Knockout Series, Partypoker launched its Monster Series, featuring 104 tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $1.1 to $55. The series includes a variety of formats, such as Mix-Max, progressive knockouts, and tournaments with increased starting stacks. The tournaments are categorized into Low, Mid, and High based on their buy-ins, with the most expensive tournament having a buy-in of $55.

GGNetwork is also offering promotions for its players. In June, the network will host a rake race for Omaha players, with a total prize pool of $100,000. Points will be awarded based on the rake generated by players, with bonuses awarded on weekends. Additionally, GGNetwork's Rush & Cash tables will now accept dollars, with a $300,000 prize pool up for grabs in the Gold Hunt promotion. Players can earn points in various ways, including seeing the flop and winning a hand with a cash drop. The prize pool will be divided among the top 800 players.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
