Jorge Martínez 'ElListoRC' Wins SIXERS Main Event, Secures €45,000

Jorge Martínez 'ElListoRC' has made history by winning the Main Event of SIXERS, securing a massive €45,000 prize. The tournament, held in Madrid, set a new record with 653 registrations, surpassing the previous year's 611. Martínez, known for his prowess in the MTT Project, started the final day with the sixth-best stack and dominated the competition from the start.

Martínez's journey to the top was impressive. He eliminated all his rivals one by one, securing a slight advantage going into the heads-up round against Álvaro Blanco. The decisive moment came in the second hand of the heads-up, where both players went all-in preflop. Blanco had K5, while Martínez had 99. The flop 876 gave Blanco a straight draw, which he completed with a 9 on the turn. However, the river 7 gave Martínez a full house, sealing his victory.

With this win, Martínez not only claimed the €45,000 prize but also secured a spot in the Top 6 of the SIXERS general classification. This achievement qualifies him for the Sit & Go final, where he will compete for a pack to play in the Main Event of the WSOP. Congratulations to Jorge Martínez 'ElListoRC' on his remarkable victory!
