Jonima80: New Contender for Poker Pro Masters II
José María Nieto, known as jonima80, is a new contender for the Poker Pro Masters II tournament. He will compete starting from September 3, 2012, having qualified through the points races on PartyPoker.
José María Nieto's journey into poker began around 2007 when he watched a game on a foreign TV channel. Intrigued, he started seeking information online and eventually began playing with friends using a set of poker chips he purchased. His initial games were chaotic, with rules changing frequently as he learned more about the game. Eventually, he grasped the rules of Texas Holdem and started playing online on platforms like PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, and PartyPoker.
Nieto prefers playing cash games at the NL50 and NL100 levels. He has set his sights on the Poker Pro Masters II as a significant goal, aiming to improve his strategy and potentially pursue a career in professional poker. His favorite poker player is Patrik Antonius, and he recommends The Psychology of Poker as a must-read for any serious poker enthusiast.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
