Jon Samperio Wins Freeroll, Secures Spot in Poker Pro Masters 2022
Jon Samperio, known as pokersamp, won a freeroll tournament organized by EducaPoker to qualify for the Poker Pro Masters 2022. The event, held on Sunday, gave one of EducaPoker's students the chance to participate in the Poker Pro Masters by PokerStars. Samperio triumphed over 222 other players who joined the tournament at 10:00 PM.
Samperio's poker journey began around 2008, inspired by watching EPT broadcasts narrated by Juan Manuel Pastor. He started playing typical friend games where the rules were barely known, even playing Limit for a few weeks. Currently, Samperio is a recreational MTT player who enjoys low buy-in online tournaments but prefers live games. He has been working as a croupier in a casino in England for the past five years.
Samperio has an account with EducaPoker and has been a member of the Universidad del MTT Project forum. He mentioned that he would like to play against Raúl Mestre and Ignacio Molina in the Poker Pro Masters 2022.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
