Poker Prodigy javiwatio Shares His Journey from .com to .es Success

Francisco Javier, known as javiwatio, is a 33-year-old administrative worker from Puerto Real, Spain. His journey in poker began after watching the movie Rounders in 2007 or 2008, which inspired him to start playing online.

javiwatio discovered EducaPoker through Raúl Mestre's blog and joined the school after its official launch. He progressed from the EP20 level to NL100 within a few months, finding the structured information and Spanish language resources invaluable.

Recently, javiwatio has had significant successes in online poker. He won notable amounts in the Nightly and Sunday Special tournaments on PokerStars.es, finishing fourth in the latter and earning over 7,000€. He also finished second in a Gran Domingo tournament on 888.es, where he lost a crucial hand with a set of twos. Despite the challenges, javiwatio notes that the traffic and level of play differ between .com and .es poker sites, with the latter offering a more manageable environment for his playing style.
