Jason Mo and Joe Ingram Discuss PokerStars Strike and Future of Online Poker
Jason Mo, a prominent poker player, shared his thoughts on the upcoming three-day PokerStars protest and the future of online poker in a conversation with Joe Ingram. Mo revealed that he would not be participating in the strike due to his own laziness, which has kept him from logging in for three weeks.
Mo expressed skepticism about the effectiveness of the three-day strike, believing that PokerStars would not react to it. He compared the strike to a short vacation, stating that true strikes involve not resuming work until demands are met.
Mo also discussed his recent experiences in Asia, where he spent almost the entire fall. Currently relaxing in Bangkok with friends, he has not touched cards for several weeks due to burnout from playing 20 hours a day in Macau. He mentioned that the lists in Wynn Macau reset every day at 6-7 AM, forcing regulars to arrive early and play all day. Mo played various high-stakes games, including 300/600, 1k/2k, and a bit of 2k/5k in Hong Kong dollars, with 2k/5k being approximately $300/$600 in USD.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
