Jack Hardcastle Wins WPT Montreal Online Main Event
The final table of the WPT Montreal Online Main Event was a battle of endurance and skill. The intense competition lasted five and a half hours, with players refusing to back down. Upeka De Silva was the first to leave the game, losing to Ryan Chamas with a flush. Chamas won with A-K against De Silva's A-K, eliminating him from the game.
De Silva's exit was notable because he missed the WSOP final in December due to a positive COVID-19 test. Another key moment saw Andrey Kryazhev eliminate Marcel Kunze. Kryazhev called Kunze's all-in with A-K, sending Kunze to the eighth place.
Jakob Migel was eliminated by Jack Hardcastle, who went on to win the event. Dan Shak finished third, earning $212,400. Hardcastle's victory secured him $447,600, making him the champion of the WPT Montreal Online Main Event.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
