Ireland and Nevada Join Forces to Regulate Online Gaming
The Ireland Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRAI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) to cooperate on gaming regulatory matters. This move is part of Ireland's efforts to regulate its online gaming industry more closely.
The GRAI expects this to be the first step in establishing broader cooperation with U.S. gaming regulators. Ireland began accepting online gaming license applications in February. The country forced Polymarket to geoblock Ireland as part of those regulation efforts.
Mike Dreitzer, chairman of the NGCB, said the board was eager to work with regulators in Ireland. The agreement continues a recent trend of countries working together on gambling initiatives.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
