High-Stakes Poker Showdown: Pros vs. Team PokerStars

A high-stakes poker challenge between professional players and Team PokerStars is scheduled for March 10, 2013. Daniel Negreanu challenged Gus Hansen and his Team PokerStars colleagues to a series of matches with significant prizes. The matches are set to take place on FullTilt, with the first starting at 18:00 MSK and the last beginning at 00:00 MSK on March 11, 2013.

The winners of each match will receive $50,000 from their opponents, and the winning team will get an additional $10,000 in tournament buy-ins for each player. The matchups include Victor 'Isildur1' Blom facing Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier, Tom 'durrrr' Dwan facing Isaac 'luvthewnba' Hacxton, and Gus Hansen facing Daniel 'Kid Poker' Negreanu.

Victor 'Isildur1' Blom expressed his excitement about returning to FullTilt, stating that the platform's software and high-stakes games are ideal for him. He also mentioned his preference for 2-7 Triple Draw, finding it an exciting and engaging game. Blom is comfortable playing with Tom Dwan and is open to winning more money from him. He will also participate in the EPT London main event and engage in a showdown with PokerStars professionals. Blom sometimes misses the anonymity of online poker and the ease of getting action but is confident in his skills and has no regrets in poker. He found it pleasant to receive recognition from Phil Galfond, who wrote a blog post about him, and expressed that he enjoys playing poker and will continue to do so in the future.
