Finnish Poker Pro Henri Puustinen's Debut at Hustler Casino: A Mixed Bag

Henri Puustinen, known as buttonclickr, is one of the strongest heads-up poker players in the world. His debut at Hustler Casino in Los Angeles was highly anticipated, but it turned out to be a mixed experience. The game included a diverse group of players: Double M, a hedge fund manager; Bill Klein, a wealthy pensioner; Nick Airball, an investment banker; Mike X, a fashion designer; Aaron Zang, the winner of the Triton Million 2021 tournament; and local regulars JR and Andy.

Henri Puustinen lost more than anyone else in the first half hour of the game. Despite his strong online reputation, Puustinen struggled to find his footing in the offline setting. One of his early hands involved a 3-bet with 86s, but he ultimately had to fold. Another notable moment was when he had to fold an overpair after Nick Airball raised on the turn.

However, Puustinen managed to secure his first win with a hand of Aces against Kings. Double M made a raise and called Puustinen's 3-bet. On the flop, Puustinen made a continuation bet, and Double M called. On the turn, Double M bet $15,000 into a $25,000 pot, and Puustinen quickly called. Puustinen's calm and strategic play allowed him to turn the tide in his favor. One of the most exciting moments of the game was when Henri Puustinen and Airball played a record-breaking bank in the history of Hustler Casino streams. The hand started with Puustinen opening, Bill Klein calling, and Airball squeezing. Both opponents called, and on the flop, the commentator exclaimed 'Oh my God!' as Airball bet half the pot, with only Puustinen calling. On the turn, Airball check-raised all-in and received an almost instantaneous call from Puustinen.
