GVC Holdings' CEO Kenneth Alexander Steps Down After 13 Years
GVC Holdings, the company behind popular poker rooms like PartyPoker and Bwin Poker, has seen a significant increase in revenue. The company's revenue from online gambling increased by 19% in the first half of 2020.
However, despite the growth, the company's long-time CEO, Kenneth Alexander, has stepped down after 13 years. Kenneth Alexander transformed GVC Holdings into one of the world's largest gambling companies, notably through the acquisitions of Bwin.Party and Coral Poker.
Shaia Segev, who previously served as the operational director of Playtech, will take over as the new CEO. Segev has already prioritized expanding GVC Holdings' presence in the American online gambling market, including a $200 million investment partnership with MGM Resorts.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
