Gus Hansen on Returning to Full Tilt Poker and High-Stakes Action
Gus Hansen, a seasoned poker player, recently shared his thoughts on his return to Full Tilt Poker (FTP) and his high-stakes poker career. Hansen was surprised when he learned about the problems at Full Tilt Poker after the 'Black Friday' incident. He was at home in Monaco when he saw the FBI emblem on his screen, indicating that the site had been seized.
Despite the challenges, Hansen believes that the high-stakes poker action will return to Full Tilt Poker. He sees himself as a key player in bringing back the high-stakes games that FTP was known for. Hansen has been playing high-stakes poker for over 10 years and is comfortable with the high limits. He mentioned that he was seen playing PLO $5/10 and Omaha Hi-Lo $30/60 and $75/150 in mid-October, showcasing his ability to handle high-stakes games.
Hansen's role in the new FTP team is to initiate high-stakes games and bring back the action that was once a hallmark of the site. He is optimistic about the future of FTP and believes that many players will return to the platform once they regain access to their accounts on November 6.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
