GrinderSpa's EPT Barcelona Day 3: A Patient Run Ends in Prize Money
Rubén Setién, known as GrinderSpa, finished 154th in the EPT Barcelona tournament, earning €8,400. He played the tournament with a low stack of chips, waiting patiently for his moment. His A Js hand lost to the A Ks of his opponent. GrinderSpa is the last surviving edukito in the competition. He entered the prize money for the second time in an EPT, maintaining a 100% success rate.
Other Spanish players who made it into the prize money include Ana Márquez and Juanma Pastor. Samuel Rodríguez is in 2nd place with 1,416,000 chips, and Marcos Fernández is in 7th place with 926,000 chips.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
