GipsyTeam Announces SCOOP 2014 Competition with Big Prizes

GipsyTeam is excited to announce a competition for its users during the upcoming SCOOP 2014 online poker tournament series. The competition will feature four categories, each with its own prize pool:

  • Low buy-ins ($300)
  • Medium buy-ins ($700)
  • High buy-ins ($1,000)
  • Overall standings ($1,200)

The prizes will be awarded in tournament dollars, which can be converted into real money through PokerStars. To participate, users need to register their nicknames by May 6, 23:59 Moscow time. Registration is open to all GipsyTeam users, and there is no obligation to register with GipsyTeam to participate.

Last year, Anatoly Filatov, known as nl_profit, won the GipsyTeam competition during the WCOOP 2013 series. Recently, he finished second in a €2,100 side event at the EPT Grand Final in Monte-Carlo, earning €70,000. This year, GipsyTeam aims to give every player a chance to catch the positive wave and compete for the top prizes.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
