GipsyTeam Increases Prize Fund and Duration for Prediction Tournament
GipsyTeam has announced significant changes to their prediction tournament, effective from August 10th. The prize fund has been increased to $250, with the tournament now lasting two weeks instead of one. The prize distribution for the tournament is as follows: 1st place - $100, 2nd place - $70, 3rd place - $45, 4th place - $25, 5th place - $10.
The previous tournament winner was 33-year-old Denis 'Kozzanostra' from Ivanovo. Denis primarily bet on draws in football during the tournament. Despite his significant lead, Denis does not consider himself an experienced bettor. He shared his strategy and insights on his approach to betting.
Denis emphasized the importance of analysis in successful betting. He noted that his initial strategy involved selecting coefficients for draws, which allowed him to gain a significant lead. However, he acknowledged that his approach evolved as the tournament progressed, and he began to make more informed bets. Denis also shared his experience from a previous marathon, highlighting the mistakes he made and the importance of avoiding express bets.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
