Full Tilt Poker Announces Reopening Date and Money Refunds for Spanish Players

Full Tilt Poker has announced that it will reopen on November 6, 2012, after receiving a license from the Commission of Gaming of the Isle of Man. The Rational Group, which owns Full Tilt Poker, has confirmed that the reopening date will be as planned.

Spanish players of Full Tilt Poker are starting to receive emails with instructions on how to reclaim their funds. The funds to be reclaimed are those that were in their accounts as of June 26, 2011, the day the Commission of Alderney withdrew the license from the site. To reclaim their funds, players need to link their Full Tilt Poker account with their PokerStars account.

The Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) will return from December 2 to December 16, 2012. The series will feature 40 tournaments, including formats like Rush Poker and multi-entry tournaments.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
