Flutter Seeks Startups to Tackle Societal Issues and Promote Safer Gambling
Flutter Entertainment is on the hunt for startups to join its initiatives aimed at addressing societal challenges and enhancing safer gambling practices. Alpha Hub, Flutter Entertainment’s startup partnership programme, is seeking early-stage companies to help find innovative solutions to help shape a positive future for society.
The Flutter Tech4Good Award aims to highlight how technology can be used to address pressing social issues. The Play Well Challenge, in partnership with the Responsible Gambling Council, aims to solve real-world problems for the industry in collaboration with startups as part of our innovation strategy to create a safer gambling environment for players.
Flutter Entertainment CIO, Conor Lynch, emphasized the alignment of these initiatives with the company's Positive Impact Plan. "The Flutter Tech4Good Award and Play Well Challenge align our expertise in technology with the ambitious targets set out within our Positive Impact Plan," Lynch said. Responsible Gambling Council CEO, Shelley White, expressed pride in collaborating with Flutter on this important programme to minimize harms related to gambling.
