Flutter, a leading European betting operator with brands such as Paddy Power, Betfair, PokerStars, and Sky Betting & Gaming, has joined the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA). This move strengthens the association's representation and cooperation among Europe’s leading online gambling operators. Flutter is one of the largest online operators in the world with net gaming revenue of over €5.9bn in 2020.
Flutter joins EGBA in its commitment to promoting greater industry responsibility and a stronger culture of safer gambling in Europe. Maarten Haijer, Secretary General of EGBA, welcomed Flutter's commitment to sustainability and safer gambling, stating that Flutter's membership will enable EGBA to strengthen its existing efforts to encourage and deepen industry cooperation and participation at the European level.
Pádraig Ó Ríordáin, Chief Legal Officer & Group Commercial Director of Flutter, emphasized that safer gambling and sustainability are paramount to Flutter's operations. He expressed excitement about working with other EGBA members to ensure the online gambling sector within Europe is more united on its role and responsibilities.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
