Flutter's Charity Ball Raises Over €270K for BUMBLEance
Flutter's first Charity Ball in Dublin raised over €270,000 for BUMBLEance, the children’s Ambulance Service of Ireland. The event, held in The Round Room at Dublin’s Mansion House, exceeded its original target, with Flutter UKI matching a target of €125k, equivalent to the cost of an ambulance for the children’s charity.
BUMBLEance is a non-profit organisation that provides safe and comfortable medical transport for Ireland’s youngest patients between home and hospital. The ambulances are designed to reduce financial hardship on families and are kitted out with TVs, a PlayStation, iPad Air, music, DVDs and books to reduce stress for children during difficult journeys.
The event was hosted by Irish stand-up comedian, Deidre O’Kane, and Paddy Power, with over 400 in attendance. The Charity Ball forms part of Flutter’s larger global pledge to Do More for its communities as part of its worldwide sustainability strategy, the Positive Impact Plan.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
