First CIS Online Poker Championship on Grompoker: Early Results and New Draw
The first online poker championship of the CIS countries is being held on Grompoker. The first 100 tournaments of the series have already been completed, with more than 10,000,000 rubles distributed. More than 50 named cups and medals have been awarded.
The tournament structure has been improved with shorter levels and late registration periods. There are two leaderboards: a team leaderboard and a personal leaderboard. The top 5 players by earnings are Co1oSSuS, SpielerK1nd, SlavePoker, basileus, and PlayUpPompey.
The tournament bosses include Dmitry Budai, Mark Kovalev, and Azim Orunov. The top 3 teams in the team leaderboard are Bliskavichniki, KJ, and Happy Holidays. The top 3 players in the personal leaderboard are basileus, SlavePoker, and KorolValetov. A ticket to the main tournament is being raffled off, with the winner being the first to correctly guess the finishing position of Liudmila Beliaeva in the Cup of Saint Petersburg.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
