Fedor Holz Wins $1.3 Million in WCOOP Main Event
Fedor Holz, a seasoned poker player, recently made headlines with his stunning victory in the main event of the WCOOP tournament, earning a massive $1,300,000.
Holz's success didn't stop there. He also won The Sunday Major on FTP (NLHE for $215 with re-entry), adding $38,240 to his earnings. This impressive performance catapulted him from 101st to 4th place in the global PocketFives ranking.
In an interview with Steve Bartley for the PokerStars blog, Holz shared his thoughts on his victory. He mentioned that he always wanted to achieve a high result in such a tournament and that winning the biggest tournament of the year was an incredible achievement. Holz felt confident and prepared for the tournament, having slept until 5 PM on Sunday to prepare for the long grind. He believed in his victory from the beginning and stated that the right mindset is a key to success. Even when he was short-stacked in the top 3, Holz was not worried about losing the victory.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
