FanDuel Partners with Gamban to Offer Free Gambling Blocking Software
FanDuel Group, part of Flutter Entertainment plc, has announced an important partnership with Gamban, a technology company specializing in gambling blocking software. This collaboration is part of FanDuel Group’s comprehensive responsible gaming initiatives. The partnership will offer Gamban’s blocking software free of charge to customers who choose to self-exclude from FanDuel’s real-money gaming sites or who identify as having a gambling problem.
The Gamban software proactively blocks users from accessing thousands of gambling sites on up to 15 personal devices. This initiative makes FanDuel Group the first major US operator to provide broadly available free access to gambling blocking software. FanDuel’s Gamban partnership comes after the company made a multi-million-dollar commitment to the American Gaming Association’s “Have a Game Plan” campaign to educate consumers on how to bet responsibly and within limits.
Carolyn Renzin, Chief Risk & Compliance Officer of FanDuel Group, emphasized the importance of educating customers about responsible gambling. She stated, “Educating customers about the importance of gambling responsibly and within limits is a business imperative and ethically the right thing to do.” Jack Symons, founder of Gamban, also highlighted the significance of this partnership, noting that it sets a new standard for the industry.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
