European Poker Tour Prague Postponed Due to COVID-19 Restrictions

The European Poker Tour Prague has been postponed to an unspecified date next year. The event, which was supposed to run from December 8 to December 20 at King's Casino at the Hilton Prague, has been delayed due to new COVID-19 regulations imposed by the Czech Republic government. The decision was made by PokerStars and King's Casino in light of the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the country.

Players who had already paid the buy-in for the event or earned an EPT Prague package can request a refund by emailing PokerStars Live ([email protected]). The option of deferring payments and packages till a later date may also be available in this case.

PokerStars management assessed the issue quickly and, after consulting with their counterparts at King's, they determined that postponing the tournament was the best course of action.
