Ethan Rampage Yau Admits to Multi-Accounting on ACR Poker

Poker player Ethan Rampage Yau has admitted to having two ACR Poker accounts. An X account named Paul Risman posted screenshots of Yau’s own tweets showing that he had access to two different ACR Poker accounts.

Yau created a new account after a poor run of 900 tournaments, thinking his original account was doomswitched. Phil Nagy of ACR Poker stated that Yau's funds would not be confiscated and that he was only trying to keep things fair.

Tom Dwan commented that Yau's actions were not cool but not bad enough to be called cheating. Alex Thallo Epstein supported Yau, suggesting that changing account names on a downswing is not uncommon.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
