Erik Seidel Wins 10th WSOP Bracelet, Ties Phil Ivey
Erik Seidel won his tenth WSOP gold bracelet after taking down Event #7: $50,000 Super High Roller at WSOP Paradise for $1,704,400. He is now tied for second place in the bracelet table alongside Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, and Johnny Chan, who all trail Phil Hellmuth leading the way with 17.
Seidel has had an incredible poker career with his career total now sitting at $45,565,328 which puts him at 7th place in the all time winners list. His first recorded cash was a runner-up score back in 1988 in the WSOP Main Event. Some start! But it took him four more years to bag his first bracelet, with two more following in 1993 and 1994.
Erik Seidel won the high-stakes Aussie Millions in 2011 for $2,472,555; $2,222,222 after taking down the $100k EPT Monte Carlo Super High Roller; and then $2,400,000 for third place in the 2016 Super High Roller Bowl.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
