Edgardo Garza Wins High Roller at Guadalajara Series of Poker
Edgardo Garza, a Mexican poker player, won the High Roller tournament at the Guadalajara Series of Poker. This victory marks his largest live tournament prize, amounting to 220,000 pesos (over 13,000 euros).
Garza, known by his Twitter handle @edgardogl, faced a significant challenge during the tournament. He was trailing in chips when he reached the heads-up stage with his compatriot Claudio Cantoni. Despite the odds, Garza managed to stage a remarkable comeback, ultimately securing the win.
This victory is not Garza's first notable achievement. He had previously made it to the final stages of two live tournaments in late 2014. His consistent performance highlights his skill and determination in the world of poker.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
