Doyle Brunson Parts Ways with DoylesRoom.com Amid US Poker Uncertainty
Legendary poker player Doyle Brunson has announced his departure from DoylesRoom.com, a site he co-founded in 2004. In a statement to Gambling911, Brunson expressed his sadness about leaving the platform but hopes to return to online poker once the US government legalizes poker sites.
Despite Brunson's exit, DoylesRoom.com will continue to serve American players. The site has the right to use Brunson's name and image for promotional purposes, but Brunson has requested that they refrain from doing so.
Meanwhile, Tony G. has criticized licensing organizations for not guaranteeing payouts to players. He expressed concern about Full Tilt Poker's ability to return funds to players before the World Series of Poker. However, Tony G. later shared positive news about withdrawals from Full Tilt Poker, stating that he is confident everything will be resolved. PokerStars has already paid out over $100 million to US players following their agreement with the US Department of Justice.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
