Doug Polk and Brin Kenny's High-Stakes Poker Duel: The Drama Unfolds
Poker enthusiasts were treated to a dramatic exchange between Doug Polk and Brin Kenny as they discussed a potential high-stakes match. Brin Kenny proposed a high-stakes duel with Doug Polk on PokerGo, with each player putting up $1 million and donating at least 20% to charity.
Doug Polk, however, declined Kenny's proposal, preferring a longer match format similar to his planned match with Daniel Negreanu. Kenny responded to Polk's decline, stating he was too busy for a long match and proposed a one-day high-stakes event. Polk suggested a 25,000 hand challenge instead of a single-day event, citing financial reasons.
In other news, Dan Bilzerian claimed he is a better poker player than Doug Polk, citing his bankroll as the sole objective measure. Meanwhile, professional poker player Salman Behbehani was arrested in Ibiza for drug smuggling. Behbehani was found with 1.5 kg of various substances on a private jet from Las Vegas. Behbehani has won over $3 million in live tournaments, including a $818,000 best cash in 2011.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
