Denilson Joins 888poker as Brazil's First Celebrity Poker Ambassador
Denilson, a Brazilian football legend who won the FIFA World Cup in 2002, has signed with 888poker to join Team888.
Denilson was the most expensive player in the world when he was sold from São Paulo to Real Betis for $32 million in 1998. Now, he is set to challenge his opponents with cards and chips instead of passes and dribbles.
Denilson is the first non-professional player to become an ambassador for 888poker in Brazil. The country already has Bruno Foster, Bruno Kawauti, and Nicolau Villa-Lobos as 888poker ambassadors.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
