David Sklansky Challenges Chip Reese's Legacy as the Greatest Poker Player

David Sklansky's new book, Geeking, Grifting, and Gambling Through Las Vegas, has sparked controversy by questioning the legacy of Chip Reese, a legendary figure in the poker world. Chip Reese was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame at the age of 29, a record that Phil Ivey did not want to break.

Sklansky's book includes claims that Chip Reese was involved in cheating and dishonest activities during his career. According to Sklansky, Reese's involvement in cheating was more serious than he himself admitted. Sklansky mentions that Reese was involved in cheating while managing a poker room at the Dunes club, where he was accused of using marked decks and other dishonest tactics.

Sklansky's claims have sparked a heated debate among poker enthusiasts. Some argue that Reese's legacy should be respected, while others believe that the truth about his actions should be revealed. The controversy surrounding Reese's legacy continues to divide the poker community.
