Darkored's Strategy for the WSOP Main Event: Just Another Poker Tournament

Darkored, a seasoned poker player, shares his unique perspective on the WSOP Main Event. He compares the Main Event to a weekly tournament with a 100€ buy-in, emphasizing that the high buy-in does not faze him. Darkored has previously played tournaments with a $10,000 buy-in and several EPTs, so the Main Event's buy-in is not a significant concern.

Darkored does not focus on the buy-in amount while playing a tournament. He expects his level of play to be the same as in any other tournament, regardless of the buy-in. He believes that the player skill level in the Main Event will be similar to local or national tournaments, with a mix of weak, average, and good players.

One of Darkored's main concerns is the two-hour level structure of the Main Event. He is worried about losing the timing and forcing his plays too much. However, he is confident in his solid game in the early levels and believes that the longer levels will benefit his style of play. Despite the glamour and history surrounding the Main Event, Darkored considers it just another poker tournament once he is seated at the table.
