Darkored and Friends Plan Epic Journey to Las Vegas by Boat and Car

Darkored, Raúl, and Emilio planned an epic journey to Las Vegas by boat and car. The idea for the trip came from Emilio, who was pregnant with his second child and wanted to do something epic before he couldn't fly. The journey includes crossing the English Channel by train, sailing on a boat, and driving the iconic Route 66.

Darkored started playing poker between 2007 and 2008. He first heard about the Main Event of the WSOP around 2008 or 2009, about a year after he started playing poker. Darkored has never been to Las Vegas but has always wanted to play the Main Event there. He compares it to a pilgrimage to Mecca for Muslims, a symbol of achievement in the poker world.

Darkored has mixed feelings about living in Las Vegas. While he acknowledges the city's allure and the potential for a lucrative poker career, he is unsure if the lifestyle would suit him. He sees the trip as a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a chance to fulfill a long-held dream.
