Daniel Negreanu Misses Last Chance to Win WSOP Bracelet Online
Daniel Negreanu's hopes of winning a WSOP bracelet online in 2020 were dashed when he finished 9th in the Global Casino Championship. This was his last chance to secure a bracelet online this year, as the World Series of Poker online has concluded, with only a small chance of an "extra extension" in Vegas remaining.
The Global Casino Championship, held on WSOP.com, featured the top players from the WSOP Circuit. The tournament had a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000, with additional funds coming from entry fees paid by qualified players. Only 20 out of 130 participants made it to the prize zone.
Andrew Kelsall emerged victorious, winning $275,632 and securing his spot in the championship as a qualified player based on his points. Other notable players who made it to the prize zone include Brien Altman, Matt Stout, and Mike Matous. Negreanu, despite his 9th place finish, earned $26,643, but the focus remains on his missed opportunity to win the bracelet.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
