Daniel Negreanu Surpasses $50 Million in Tournament Winnings

Daniel Negreanu's recent 3rd place finish in the $25K buy-in PokerGO Cup event #7 earned him $124,000 in prize money, pushing his total live tournament winnings over the $50 million mark. With this achievement, Negreanu becomes the third player in history to reach this milestone, with a total of $50,116,498 in cashes.

Only two players, Justin Bonomo and Bryn Kenney, have more live tournament winnings than Negreanu. Negreanu's first recorded cash was in a $230 Limit Hold'em event in 1997, where he finished in 10th place and won $1,050. This marked the beginning of what would become a Hall of Fame career in poker.

Negreanu has been a dominant force in the poker world for over two decades. He has won five previous PokerGo events and was aiming for his sixth victory in the PokerGo Cup event #7. However, his bid for the title was thwarted when his A-Q hand did not hold up against the cards that hit the board.
