Crown Resorts Pays $125 Million to Settle China Arrests Lawsuit
Crown Resorts will pay AU$125m (US$94m) to settle a class action lawsuit brought by its shareholders. The lawsuit follows the arrest of 19 Crown Resorts employees in China for illegal marketing practices. Jason O'Connor, a senior executive at Crown Resorts, was among those arrested. The scandal led to a 14% drop in Crown Resorts' share price. Crown Resorts expects to recover a significant portion of the settlement from insurers. Crown Resorts has faced multiple issues including links to organised crime, money laundering, and irresponsible gaming practices.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
