Connecticut Becomes the Latest State to Legalize Online Poker
Connecticut has become the latest U.S. state to legalize online poker. Governor Ned Lamont signed bill number 6451 to legalize online poker in Connecticut. Two tribal casinos, Mohegan and Mashantucket Pequot, will offer online gambling services to the entire population of Connecticut.
The federal government still needs to approve amendments to the law for online gambling to fully function in Connecticut. The tribal casinos will be able to operate and organize online sports betting, casino games, and poker within the state.
Governor Lamont expressed optimism about the new law, stating that Connecticut is now on the brink of offering modern, technologically advanced gaming options that will compete with neighboring states and ensure future success.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
